Former Personal Chef Turned Blogger
Krizia is a former personal chef and a food writer. She specialized in French cuisine and I published a critically acclaimed lifestyle and bilingual French food guide that sold in Canada, France, the U.S., Germany and the U.K. The guide was voted by Air Canada En Route magazine.
She’s got a very interesting story and is someone who has successfully applied the concept of a print magazine to blogging in a niche market. One of her blogs talks about how to eat the right food to help anyone age well, which is at Eat Smart, Age Smart
She also has a second blog, which is a beauty review site that provides lots of information about which beauty products are good to use and lots of tips on beauty.
The reason why I interviewed Krizia was to find out how she generated around $5,000 a month from these two blogs in a short amount of time. Furthermore, her success story did come at a cost at the beginning and she will share this with you in the interview.

The Girl Behind Get Elastic
Today’s interview is with Linda Bustos from Get Elastic. Linda is a wonderful and cheerful blogger who has done an exceptional job to grow Get Elastic’s blog with over 10,000 readers. She provides excellent tips on ecommerce and is an expert media analyst who knows how to engage readers through social media. Linda has also been named one of Vancouver’s Tech Women to Watch, placed #25 of the Top 100 Influential Marketers of the year and was the winner of Marketing Pilgrim’s SEM Scholarship for the article 8 Stupid Things Webmasters Do to Mess Up Their Analytics.
Furthermore, Get Elastic is also recognized by the Wall Street Journal as one of 15 entrepreneur blogs worth reading and ranks on the AdAge Power 150. I wanted to interview Linda because I wanted to find out how she grew the blog starting from a few hundred readers to over 10,000 readers a day in a short space of 2 years. Not only does she have a great readership, Linda is a true expert using her blog to market through social media networks.

2009 New Year Starts With A Bang!
January 1, 2009 by Tyrone
Most people start a brand new year with a resolution to what they want to accomplish for that year. For me it’s a new year, with a new lifestyle and a new business venture. Over the last 12 months I’ve been consolidating all the different ventures I have dabbled in and streamlined the systems so that I could take myself away from running businesses and spend more time working on them instead.
For 2009, my goals are:
- To teach others how I have successfully run Internet Businesses.
- To work only 4 days a week and take one day off to purse my hobbies.
- To monetise InternetBusinessPath.com so it will generate $200,000 per year from multiple revenues.
- To offer valuable content about Internet Business, Entrepreneurship and Making Money Online to my customers and readers.
- Increase the readership of this website to 10,000 subscribers by the end of 2009.
In 2009, I will look forward to working with like-minded people who want to also succeed at creating a profitable Internet Businesses.
