    Hi Tyrone,

Great video. Very good tips here. Could you produce a video about how to handle taxes in the US when you outsource an employee fulltime? That would be helpful.

    Keep up the great work.

Tyrone, Thanks for this guide. This is my first time visit to your site and it seems to be a great blog to me. I work with people all over the world and keep looking for people to work for me from their home. It is not that easy to pay them initially as there are tons of options available and different people follow different services to get paid but it is fine as it is a one time hassle to go through.

    Hi James,

Appreciate the feedback and it’s very interesting how the Internet brings us together allowing us to work with anyone from home. I agree, there are lots of different payment methods and the tutorial I demonstrate here is what has worked for me. In the next tutorial I will demonstrate how to use Xoom to pay virtual staff as well.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you back here soon.

Tyrone, XOOM is the second most important mode of transaction by me so far and it is very popular in phili. Never had major issues with xoom, just a minor one once. I normally set a minimum limit for XOOM as i pay the fees for sending the money.

    Hi James,

I soley use Xoom to pay all my staff in the Philippines as well. I used to use Paypal, but the fees were quite high and my staff kept asking me for an alternative. I agree with setting a minimum limit as it does add up with more transactions. That’s why in the video I recommend paying staff monthly and just doing it all at once.

Thanks for your comments and I appreciate all your feedback.

I have used paypal for paying all of my virtual employees. I agree that the fees are much too high. So I will have to look into XOOM. I’m also looking forward to when Google starts offering a similar service.
